My hubby, A man who is #MadeOfGreat

The Almighty has given me a wonderful person as my life partner who is #Madeofgreat. I love him each and every minute and there were million times when he swept me off his feet. Five years have passed and we are blessed with a wonderful kid. But still our love is growing day by day. He is the one with whom I share my joys, secrets, sorrows and sufferings.

With all his good characteristics, he always inspires greatness in me. He is simple, confident, honest, jovial, helpful and kind-hearted. He possesses great characteristics like humility, morality, tenacity and respect. There were numerous things I can list out but I want to write about an incident which made my tears to come out in proud of having such a wonderful human being as my husband.

It was the day when we decided to buy an air conditioner for our home. All of us went to an electronic shop and ordered an air conditioner. They told us that they would deliver it on the next day. When we were returning back to home, we had crossed a temple. I asked him whether we could go there. He told me that he would take us next time. He never used to tell no for going to temple. For the first time, he told that he would take us next time. I was also okay but I never knew that it happened for a reason.

We were coming on the Grand Southern Truck road. It is a national highway and one of the busiest highways in southern India. Vehicles used to go in high speed and every one should be careful while crossing the road.

I saw a big crowd in one lane and we had crossed it so quickly. I spotted an old man lying on the road. I saw him only for fraction of second. I immediately told my hubby what I saw. He slowed down the car and parked it. He asked me to stay inside the car with the kid.

I turned back to check what was happening. Every one in the crowd was standing far away from the old man. I guessed that the old man got hit by a vehicle while crossing the road. I thought that the man might have lost his life and that should be the reason why every one was standing helpless. I saw my hubby walking towards the man. The crowd was standing in the opposite side. I thought he would go and ask somebody on what happened and he would help if required.

But he went directly to the old man and took his wrist to check the pulse. The whole crowd immediately came near the old man. I was not able to see what was happening after that since the crowd had surrounded the man. Tears started coming out like a flood from my eyes when I saw that incident. I felt so proud of having such a wonderful husband.

People were just watching the old man lying in a pool of blood assuming that he had died. No one bothered to check whether he was alive. Every one was simply watching him. But when my hubby started checking the pulse, every one came running. Every one had starting trouble even to save a life. My hubby became a role model for every one in the crowd.

I saw an ambulance coming immediately and taking the old man. I saw two more young guys getting inside the ambulance. The ambulance had started but the crowd had not dispersed. I knew that they all would be standing and talking for a while about the accident.

My hubby came back. I asked him whether the man was alive. He said yes. I was so happy and asked him what happened after he went there. I told him that I was not able to see from the car.

"When I checked the pulse, I found that he is alive. I immediately called the ambulance. That is when every one started coming towards the old man. The driver told that he was in a nearby place and reach in few seconds. The man was lying in a pool of blood and one of his legs got severely injured.", he told. "Thank God! We have seen him. If you had not gone, nobody should have bothered to call even ambulance.", I told.

"Two more medical college students came at that time and they are only going along with the man in the ambulance. They told me that they would take care of him.", he told.

I prayed for the man to save the old man's life. I also thanked God for giving me a wonderful soulmate. At that time, I realized that if we could have gone to temple, the old man might not have gotten timely help. I thanked God again.

After we returned back to home, I immediately called my mom and told everything. Every one in my family felt so proud of my husband.

I have never seen such heroism in the real world. On that day, I realized that I have a hero with me as life partner. He is my love and he is someone who is #madeofgreat.

He always insist that we should not think even for a second to help others. We might be able to save even someone's life. I realized the true meaning of it on that day. I still believe that the old man is living somewhere happily. I could feel a wonderful transformation within myself.

Discovering Real Togetherness

Relationships are beautiful forever. It is something which should be meaningful. When a relationship is real, it can bring a bundle of joy and wonder. No one can lead a life without any relationship.

Relationship has started losing its real joy nowadays. People form relationship in digital world. They do not care about the real relationship which is next to them. They search for relationships in virtual world. They forget the real meaning of relationship and ignore the advantages of real relationship. Can virtual relationship give lifetime memories? Can virtual relationship give helping hand when you are in need? There is no way.

When I was young, relationship was in a different form. I had wonderful times and joyful memories with my relationships. I used to meet my relatives and friends frequently. I spent a lot of time together with them. I had shared my joy and worries with them. There is a lot of joyful moments with my relationships that I cherish for lifetime. Is that possible with digital relationship?

Most of the digital relationships start with WhatsApp or Facebook chats. Some would never meet in their lifetime. I do not think we can call it as a relationship. I fear that our children would lose the real joy of togetherness.

Let us break the shackles of the digital world and instead get down to the roots and connect in person. Let us feel and share real emotions in the real world. Let our children also feel and enjoy the same. Most of the apartments have park and play areas nowadays. Let us take our children frequently. Let us allow them to connect with other children. Let they build their relationships in person. We will also get a chance to connect with more people.

Let us stop taking children to shopping malls frequently. We can form a group of children and parents. We can take them to some natural places where the children get connected with each other. They can connect with nature too. If we take them to malls, they will not get time to get connected. Nature has the power of connecting the people. It can help us to discover the real togetherness.

Once the children enjoy the real togetherness, they will start ignoring the digital togetherness. Digital togetherness cannot give real joy. They can give only physical problems for us and our children. There are so many problems involved in the digital togetherness like neck pain, ear strains, sleepless nights and so on. We will not get anything good finally.

Let us plan our family outings to lakes, parks and hill stations instead of shopping malls and movies. Some of us had enjoyed the real togetherness during our childhood. Let our children do not miss the joy of real togetherness. Let us step forward and break the digital togetherness. Let us raise our voice to real togetherness.

#MySiblingRocks - Academics made easy by my sis

We had no habit of celebrating Raskhabandhan earlier when we were in our native. We are from Southernmost part of India and Raskhabandhan was not a very famous festival there during our childhood. Nowadays, Raskhabandhan  has become one of the important occasion which has to be celebrated by each and everyone who got best siblings.

On the occasion of Raskhabandhan, everyone recalls their memories with their best siblings and I am not an exception. My sister is 7 years younger to me. That might be the reason why I was seeing thinking myself as another mother who has to make everything perfect for her in life. Be it her academics, career or anything else, I want her to get the best. I go extra miles but I want to make sure that I do my level best in everything.

As she was too younger than me, I only used to advice, scold, order some years before. Now she is 22 years old and she is good enough in advising me too when I get stuck with personal problems :-)

When she was little, she helped me a lot in my academics. One of my college professor tortured everyone in our class a lot in form of impositions. He used to ask us to write algorithm so many times. One day, he asked us to write an algorithm for 1300 times. He gave punishment to the whole class always even if one student did not obey him.

My college was located far away from my home and I used to spend 3 to 3.5 hours daily in travelling. Without my sister, I could not have concentrated on my studies. I could have spent all my time in writing impositions and writing record books.

I was always topper in my school days. But after coming to college, I was missing the top position in the first two semesters. I had put more effort in studying and I had done my exams well. But still I was not able to come as a topper. I was really worried about it as I was not able to understand what could be the reason.

During the third semester, my sister presented me some glittering pens and gel pens for the exam. They were not popular at that time. She told me that it might be helpful for you. At least to regain the energy which she lost by doing the household chores alone, she likes to visit her mom's home frequently. But if you are caring enough to share her load at your home itself, she will be equally happy to stay at her own home. She feels both homes as pleasant places to stay.

You know how much successful me and your dad are in our life. The only secret ingredient for our tasty life is honesty. Yes, we love to be honest whatever situation it is.

Honesty will never let you fail:

You might feel afraid whether you will fail in something. Believe me, you will never fail if you are honest. Be it your personal life or your career, be honest. Honesty will cover you in all situations and your history will never have the word 'failure'.

Honesty will never let you step down:

The entire world is so busy in climbing up in life no matter whether the path is an honest one. Those who take the dishonest path are sure to come down in few days or month. But the people who take the honest path will never step down. 

Honesty will never let you become weaker:

People fail in their life when they feel weak. Whenever you think about your honesty, your energy level will get boosted automatically. You will feel more stronger and you will feel that all your problems are quite weak when compared with your strength. People who are dishonest will always feel weaker throughout their life even though they do not reveal it.

Honesty will never give you a bad name:

People might gain good name and fame so easily by cheating, lying or any other dishonest ways. But the truth will not hide for a longer time. Truth will come out one day. It might take its own time but it will come in the right time. The disaster will take place one it comes out. Everyone who praised them earlier will curse them even much more at that time. Be honest. Never think about gaining good name or reaching heights of fame. Do your work with honest. Everything else will come to your way.

Honesty will never let you feel coward:

If you are honesty enough, you do not need to feel afraid in any situation. People who are dishonest have to always feel coward. They always worry whether their real face and dishonest things will come out and make a disaster in their life. 

Let others be honest or not. Try to make them honesty. If you cannot change them, leave them till they learn the importance of honesty. But do not get influenced by their temporary success. Success of dishonest people is never permanent. Everything will vanish one day which are not made in an honesty way. So, be honest always and success is always yours.

My Mom is #MYFIRSTEXPERT

Mother is the most beautiful word in the world. She is the most person who is so adorable. She is the one which takes me in the right path always.

I am the one who always love to be a person who is a perfectionist in everything. Be it my personal or my professional life, I do everything with so much care that there should not be any flaws. I do not like to regret later and so I do everything perfectly. My mom always tells me that we should act ethically keeping the moral values in mind. She always wanted me as a person who always gets praised for the values. She tells me that we should always leave a good footprint in a way that no one can complain about us. She also asks me to be patient all the time and forget if someone does bad things to us.

I have been a girl who has a very good name in the society. People always appreciates me for my behavior and respect I show to others. But things changed when I got my first promotion in my career. My seniors were there waiting for the promotion but I was the one who got it even during recession period.

The other people became so jealous and angry on me. They started doing very bad things to me just to spoil my name. But my mom asked me to be patient and God would take care of everything. I kept patience whenever they acted with cunning mind. My mom told me to leave them to God and he would take care. She told me that we should not take any revenge. She insisted me that my value should not be lost by them. As she told, I left everything to God. They got into troubles by their poor work later and had to leave the organisation finally.
